Is breeding implemented?
No. There is no breeding menu in the live client, no unlock step, and no announcement describing one. Datamined strings mention two same-family parents and a selection of up to four innate potentials plus one trait. Those strings are extraction data from an unfinished build, and they cannot be used to plan resources today.
The gender field exists on individual Aniimo, which is the detail that keeps the rumor alive. Its two confirmed uses are unrelated to pairing: Piopiota's evolution requires an opposite-sex Susuta follower, and Panpanta's Appeal skill triggers with a gendered team condition. Neither is a breeding interface. A visible gender tag is not evidence of a breeding system.
Official silence The 29 October patch notes, the official probability page and the client help index all omit breeding. That absence is the strongest evidence available: the feature is not live as of 2 November 2026.
What does Inheritance transfer?
Inheritance exists so that a good training investment does not die when a better individual appears. It is a record swap, not a fusion. The donor gives its training history, the recipient receives it, and both individuals remain in the collection.
| Transferred item | Effect on the recipient |
|---|---|
| EXP and level | Recipient reaches the donor's level; donor drops to the recipient's previous level. |
| Resonance Stage | Resonance progress moves with the training record. |
| Star Rank | Star investment moves, including support Aniimo star ranks. |
| Capability Awakening | Potential awakening count moves. |
| Used Capafruit | Applied Capafruit effects transfer automatically; official developer letters confirm this. |
| Other training progress | Any remaining training state in the record moves as one package. |
| Excess materials | Over-invested training items return in full rather than vanishing. |
The operation is a swap, not a copy. A Lv.55 donor and a Lv.45 recipient become Lv.45 and Lv.55 respectively. The donor is not consumed, and neither disappears from the encyclopedia.
Four conditions must be met before the button stops being gray:
- Same family, which is wider than same species and covers the whole evolution line. Emberpup through Inferlupa can exchange records.
- Donor is more developed than the recipient. A pure level gap with no training difference can still lock the selection.
- Both are off duty. Remove both from the battle team and the exploration team first.
- Enough Credits. The confirmation text reads "This will consume 20000. Confirm inheritance?" and no other material is charged.
Community dual source Basic Irisalis is reported as the single exception to the family rule: as a donor it can transfer into a different family, while an Irisalis recipient does not receive the same privilege. The official text does not state this, so treat it as a tested edge case rather than a general rule.
What does Inheritance not transfer?
The boundary list is short and it is the part that costs players the most Credits. If you inherit into a bad innate roll, the bad roll stays.
| Stays with each individual | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Species and evolution form | The recipient does not change species or family. |
| Personality | Reroll it with a Psyche Fruit; Inheritance does not move it. |
| Skills | Skill unlocks are not replaced or copied across individuals. |
| Innate Potential roll | The recipient keeps the six-stat values it was captured with. |
| Species traits, mutation, form | Form changes need dedicated items such as the Prismana Orb. |
The best use case is therefore narrow and clear: you already have a good innate roll and a good personality, but you trained the wrong body first. Inheritance recovers that investment. If the recipient has a poor roll, the 20,000 Credits do not fix it, and you should wait for a better capture.
What are Dispatch eggs?
Dispatch is the closest live system to breeding. It sends a working Aniimo away from the RV Park Board and brings back regional goods, Held Items and, sometimes, one egg.
- Unlock: RV6 installs the Signal Transmitter. The gate is 12 farm plots, six woodland plots and the Time to Explore: Part 1 quest. No title is required for tier 1.
- Tiers: tier 1 is a six-hour trip with one slot; tier 2 is twelve hours with two slots at RV11 and Wayfarer I; tier 3 is twenty hours with three slots at RV16.
- Egg limit: at most one egg per trip, regardless of slots.
- Family: the egg's family follows the dispatched Aniimo. The park you launch from changes local specialties and Held Item rarity, not the egg family.
- Odds: longer trips are stated to have a higher chance. No percentage exists in the client, the official notes or the data files.
The egg preview card states the inheritance rule directly: the egg has a chance to inherit the traveling Aniimo's form and mutation, and the text names Prismana form and Sparkling mutation specifically. A screenshot-level community record adds the full selectable list as seven forms and three mutations, but that list is a screenshot transcription rather than published text.
Small sample In a recorded test, two Sparkling individuals each returned an egg, and neither hatched Sparkling. That supports "chance, not guarantee" and nothing more. Do not run Dispatch expecting a shiny; run it for the specialty goods and treat an egg as a bonus.
Can a Dispatch egg inherit Prismana?
Yes, by chance. That is the whole answer. The official developer letter says RV Dispatch "now have a chance to produce Aniimo eggs with the Prismana trait", and the egg card repeats the possibility. Neither source gives a rate, and there is no pity counter, no guaranteed slot and no way to force the outcome.
Two claims are specifically worth rejecting:
- "Longer trips guarantee an egg." The rule is a higher chance, not a guarantee. Twenty hours with three slots still has a no-egg outcome.
- "Send three rare individuals to stack traits." The rule text is singular, describing "the Aniimo that went on the trip". Community speculation about combining an Umbral, an Alpha and a Sparkling into one composite egg has no supporting text and should not guide planning.
The main Prismana route remains Nurture and Prismana Flow in the open world, not Dispatch. The Prismana hunting guide covers that chain, and the rare variants page explains how Alpha, Umbral and Sparkling differ.
Do personality and Potential pass down?
No, and this is the cleanest split between the two systems:
- Inheritance moves the training record and leaves personality, skills and the innate Potential roll untouched. Capafruit effects move because the official letter treats them as training investment, not as a capture roll.
- Dispatch creates a new individual at hatch, so personality and the innate six-stat roll are generated fresh. There is no mechanism to copy a parent's personality or roll into the egg.
If you want a different personality, use a Psyche Fruit on the individual you already have. If you want a different innate roll, you need a new capture or hatch. Inheritance cannot substitute for either.
Which mysterious egg is which?
Two items share the word "mysterious" and are frequently merged in Chinese-language guides. They are different items with different sources, guarantees and hatch times.
| Property | Mysterious Aniimo Egg | Mysterious Prismana Egg |
|---|---|---|
| Source | RV Dispatch, Park Board trips | RV15 and RV18 level rewards; Egg Heist drops |
| Rarity band | Legendary egg | Prismatic egg |
| Family | Follows the dispatched Aniimo | Fixed to the egg's own species |
| Prismana guarantee | None; chance only | Guaranteed Prismana form |
| Hatch time | Not published | About 10 hours in current data |
| Other guarantees | None, including no Perfect Potential promise | Form only; other rolls are still generated |
Both eggs hatch at a Hatchinator, either the outpost machine or the Homeland machine. The Mysterious Prismana Egg's ten-hour figure is the mainstream Prismatic duration and has three independent sources behind it; the Mysterious Aniimo Egg's timer is not in the current data and should be read from the incubator itself.
One related correction: the RV15 and RV18 rewards were once described as a single egg at RV15. The repair notes for both levels list a Mysterious Prismana Egg reward, so plan for two guaranteed eggs if you reach both levels. For where the Egg Heist version drops, see the Egg Heist guide.
